I have noticed that in the last week my salvia's leef are getting black and they are like eaten and with holes all over.
I have seen some little flies around but I don't know if is related.
Please help!

On the picture, she seems OK except the the holes (perharps a caterpilar problem?).
If you give her too much water, then the roots rot and she makes black leaves & she dies.(nerver let the ground always wet) But I dont know if it's your case but 2 leaves are suspicious... For the water, you have to water when Salvia's ground is dry in a depth of average 2cm.

Could you descride the little flies ?

Hello and thanks for your answer. Actually almost the leaves are starting to have holes in it. I was suspected a caterpillar but haven't seen any. I removed the plant from the greenhouse because I have seen a lot of 1-2 mm black little flies but maybe they only were looking for a warmer space...
What do you thing I should do about the holes?
About the water I maybe exagerate a bit, that would explain the black edges of some leaves?

Be carefull with the water dosage and for the holes, I don't know because it doesn't seem to be a bite, perhaps a minor consequence of adaptation...

Salvia is capricious and she likes worrying her owner !
